Judge Puts a Halt to Biden’s Racist Farming Bail Out Program

Racism is a social problem that has conflicted a multitude of nations over the years that humankind has been in existence. And nearly ever since then, there have been those who have tried to subdue and extinguish it. But as time has taught us, the solution to doing so can be rather tricky to reach.

So what is that solution?

According to the political left that is currently ruling our country, racism can only be solved by more racism, apparently. Or at least that’s what they are implying by trying to make reparations for past discriminations.

Now, to be clear, the federal government hasn’t passed any such “reparations” law or order. However, thanks to Section 1005 of President Joe Biden’s program to bail out American farmers, reparations are most certainly being given.

And, of course, only to those of minority descent.

The program, also known as the “American Rescue Plan Act,” pays direct or guaranteed farm loan balances up to 120 percent. But only to ranchers or farmers who are “Black/African American, American Indian, Alaskan Native, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, or Pacific Islander.”

Whites or Caucasians are rejected, no matter their financial need.

Naturally, there have been more than a few decrying the unconstitutionality of this. So many so, in fact, that the matter was recently brought before a federal judge.

Judge William Griesbach, appointed by former President George W. Bush, was given the case and, on June 10, made his ruling in favor of the constitution and not Biden’s Department of Agriculture. As such, Griesbach has issued a temporary restraining order, blocking the program from handing out any more taxpayer funds in such a discriminatory fashion for the time being.

Griesbach wrote in his ruling on the case, “The obvious response to a government agency that claims it continues to discriminate against farmers because of their race or national origin is to direct it to stop: it is not to direct it to intentionally discriminate against others on the basis of their race and national origin.”

In large part, the judge’s ruling was based on the fact that the program does not consider either an applicant’s financial status or how the COVID pandemic has affected them. Instead, it only takes their race into account.

So while a financially wealthy Hispanic farmer may be eligible for debt relief through the program, a white and nearly broke one isn’t given the same opportunity.

As Griesbach remarked, “the only consideration in determining whether a farmer or rancher’s loans should be completely forgiven is the person’s race or national origin. Plaintiffs are excluded from the program based on their race and are thus experiencing discrimination at the hands of their government.”

Furthermore, the program is clearly designed to help “disadvantaged farmers” hurt by the pandemic. And yet, according to Judge Griesbach, it doesn’t even look at pandemic-related losses.

Griesbach says offering bailouts to disadvantaged farmers is fine. But not if it is solely based on race.

And that is why Griesbach believes the case against the USDA will ultimately be a successful one.

Of course, the USDA, under Agriculture Secretary Thomas Vilsack, disagrees with the ruling, saying that once the temporary restraining order is lifted, the “USDA will be prepared to provide the debt relief authorized by Congress,” according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

However, by then, I’m sure the plaintiffs moving against the government will have rightfully pursued other means of stopping the racist “equity” program.

For now, the group is happy with the temporary result.

As the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty’s general counsel who is leading the case, Rick Esenberg noted, he and his clients are glad that the court has “recognized” the federal government’s plan to discriminate based on race and the fact that it could cause “irreparable harm” to the innocent.

But they will not be giving up on their fight to end the government’s race-based plan any time soon and for good reason.

If the political left had their way, race would be the basis of practically everything in the US and not because they really want to help one race or another. Instead, their goal is only more power. They are currently seeing success by weaponizing race issues, so that’s what they’ll continue to use until someone puts them in their place.

Hopefully, that comes sooner rather than later…
